Seth Brown makes strong case to stay in A's lineup in win vs. Angels

OAKLAND -- A's outfielder Seth Brown spent five long seasons in the minor leagues, dreaming that one day he would get a chance in the majors. Now that he's here, he doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon.

The 27-year-old rookie continued his torrid run Tuesday night, going 2-for-3 with two triples, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored as the A's earned a crucial 7-5 win over the Angels at the Oakland Coliseum.

"It was fantastic tonight," Brown said after Oakland's win. "It's hard to describe. It was my first time in the Coliseum tonight.
