Reports: D’backs agree to two-year deal with Tyler Clippard

The Arizona Diamondbacks roster overhaul has extended by reportedly bolstering their bullpen.

Arizona has agreed to a two-year deal with reliever Tyler Clippard, according to national reports.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports was first to announce the report.

The D'backs and Clippard agreed to a two-year, $12.25 million contract according to Rosenthal.

Clippard, who turns 31 on Valentine's Day, spent the 2015 season with the Oakland A's and New York Mets. The A's traded Clippard to the Mets on July 27, 2015 for minor league pitcher Corey Meisner.
