Report: Verlander traded to AL West team

The biggest pitching name on the trade market is on the move.

According to MLB.com, Justin Verlander has been traded to the Houston Astros.

The teams have yet to confirm the deal.

Verlander pitched for 13 seasons in Detroit. He was the 2006 AL Rooker of the Year and the 2011 Cy Young and Most Valuable Player Award winner. He also has two no-hitters to his name and is a six-time All-Star.
