Oakland on Sunday got what it wanted, as the 35-year-old reliever agreed to a three-year, $22 million deal, according to a national report.

Madson spent last season with the Kansas City Royals, coming up with three saves over 63.1 innings pitched. His 2.13 ERA was the best of his career.
