OAKLAND -- A's center fielder Rajai Davis remains sidelined by a minor left hamstring injury but appears close to a return.
Davis, who suffered the injury in Thursday night's series opener against Seattle, did some light jogging Saturday morning and said he felt better.
"I think we're close to potentially getting him in a game," A's manager Bob Melvin said. "It's obviously a big part of his game, the running portion, so we don't want to overdo it. We want to give him some time to where, once he gets in there, he can play his game.
