NEW YORK -- The A's recalled right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman from Triple-A Nashville and placed outfielder Stephen Piscotty on the bereavement list, the club announced Friday.
Graveman, 27, was 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA (8 er, 12.0 ip) with eight strikeouts in two starts with Nashville after being optioned on April 26. He began the season with Oakland, going 0-5 with an 8.89 ERA and .336 opponent's batting average in six starts. Graveman was last optioned to the Minors in 2015 after starting the year 1-2 with an 8.27 ERA in four starts. He came back a month later to go 5-2 with a 1.
