This season, you won’t have to make a late breakfast of hot dogs if you arrive early for Oakland A’s batting practice.
The team has announced a most civilized alternative: Brunch.
Today, the Athletics tweeted that the Coliseum’s Shibe Park Tavern will feature Belgian Liege Waffles, French Toast Bake and Breakfast Melts before day games on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s called the Bashin’ Brunch, and if you don’t know who that’s named after, well, no extra maple syrup for you.
Also during the 2018 season, Shibe will schedule a number of tap takeovers featuring California breweries.
