There will be baseball in Las Vegas again.
The A’s announced on Tuesday that the Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the A’s triple-A affiliate Las Vegas Aviators, will host two 2-game series during spring training.
The Cleveland Indians will play the A’s twice from February 29 and March 1. The Chicago Cubs will play the Cincinnati Reds in a two-game series on March 7 and 8.
This is the first time the A’ will participate in the Big League Weekend — a Las Vegas event that took a brief pause last year during the Las Vegas Ballpark’s construction — since 2015.
