The Oakland A’s are reportedly moving their A-ball affiliate to Vancouver, potentially bringing that team much closer.
For the past decade, the Vancouver Canadians had been the Toronto Blue Jays short season A-ball team, a minor league franchise that allowed baseball fans on Canada’s west coast to have a connection with the one major league team in the country.
