Oakland A's owner John Fisher gave a rare interview recently. It had nothing to do with the A's.

What does Oakland A's owner John Fisher think about anything? We can insinuate some of his stances through A's President Dave Kaval, who regularly speaks out on behalf of the organization and Fisher himself, but the billionaire Gap Inc. heir who owns at least 90% of the organization has steadfastly refused to give public interviews about a potential Howard Terminal development, the future of the A's or the treatment of A's minor league players.

Fisher does issue the occasional statement — he provided one to ESPN in May, when he said, "The future success of the A's depends on a new ballpark.
