Oakland A’s Game #25: Jesús Luzardo, A’s lineup bounce back in 4-1 win over D’Backs

The Oakland A’s slump lasted exactly two games.

The A’s bounced back from two rough games in the desert to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1 on Wednesday, in the first of two contests at home in the Coliseum.

The green and gold put in an all-around strong performance, with every area of the roster contributing. They got a brilliant scoreless outing from starting pitcher Jesús Luzardo, enough runs from the offense thanks to power and clutch hitting, error-free defense including some big plays, and another save by their dominant bullpen setup crew.

In particular, this was the best outing we’ve seen so far from the highly touted rookie Luzardo.
