Matt Olson has hit longest home run by A's player in Statcast era

You know what they say: "Chicks dig the long ball." They should stop saying that.

Nonetheless, we love home runs -- especially when we're able to measure how far they go thanks to the Statcast era. Including this gem from Matt Olson during his rookie season in 2017:

This 483-foot beauty was not only the longest hit home run of the season, but it's the longest one from an Oakland A since the Statcast era began tracking at the beginning of the 2015 season, according to MLB.com.

He did this at the neutral Citizens Bank Park against Mark Leiter Jr.
