McGwire is back. No, not Mark, but the name certainly is.
Stemming off ESPN’s recent debut of “Long Gone Summer,” which highlights former A’s slugger Mark McGwire and ex-Chicago Cubs outfielder Samy Sosa’s intense home run race back in 1998, is footage of Mac’s son Max taking some swings and hitting some bombs.

Max, 17, is currently participating in the Perfect Game National Showcase in Hoover, Ala.
