The Warriors star shared an experience that will stick with him forever, and was only possible because Golden State is waiting to find out their Western Conference Finals opponent.
Durant met Baseball Hall of Famer and A’s legend Rickey Henderson during the Athletics’ 7-3 loss to the Angels. After enjoying the first four innings from behind home plate, Durant moseyed upstairs for his cross-sport superstar interaction.
“We went to the clubhouse and we sat in the back and talked to Rickey Henderson until the game was over,” Durant said Wednesday on his latest YouTube live stream.
