NEW YORK - Oakland’s injury situation is nearing crisis level, with two starters, Kendall Graveman and Jesse Hahn, likely to land on the DL in the next day or two and first baseman Yonder Alonso not expected to play Friday at Yankee Stadium.
Graveman has been the A’s best starter most of the past year, but he already has been on the DL once this year and he is expected to be out even longer this time after a recurrence of shoulder soreness. “This DL is going to take a little longer, if indeed he goes on the DL,” manager Bob Melvin said.
