Seattle put out a lineup that figures to be their regular lineup against right-handed pitchers. You might call it their opening day lineup, but the Mariners will face lefty Dallas Keuchel and the Astros in the opener, so there will be some changes made.
Still, Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, Kyle Seager, Jarrod Dyson, Leonys Martin and the rest were on display, and Cotton, scheduled to be the A’s No. 3 man in the starting rotation this season, was able to hold his own in what turned out to be an 8-5 win.
