Jesse Hahn continues push for rotation with 3 scoreless innings

MESA, Ariz. – Last spring, when he talked about the A’s rotation, Jesse Hahn could count himself as one of the main men.

This year, not so much. He needs to recreate his early success to show that A’s he’s worthy of inclusion, and he’s done a decent job so far.

He threw three scoreless innings against the American League West champion Rangers Thursday in Hohokam Stadium. He struck out the side in the first after allowing a leadoff single, then put his off-speed pitches to work in the second and third innings.

“I had a good feeling all the way through,” Hahn said.
