James Kaprielian has mixed results in MLB debut in A's win vs. Giants

James Kaprielian has dreamt of this day for his entire life.

The 26-year-old was a first-round pick by the New York Yankees in the 2015 MLB Draft, and made his first appearance in an MLB game Sunday afternoon at Oracle Park, helping the A's complete a three-game sweep in the Battle of the Bay.

It wasn't an entirely positive initial appearance in the big leagues as Kaprielian's first opponent in the box, Giants shortstop and fellow UCLA Bruin Brandon Crawford, blasted a solo home run to center field to get San Francisco on the board in the bottom of the seventh inning.
