CLEVELAND – After bottoming out with 19 strikeouts Tuesday night, the A’s hitters need something to change their bad karma.
They know it, and after Tuesday’s debacle, there’s almost nothing that’s not on the table.
“We could do naked BP tomorrow,” one of the hitters said late after Tuesday’s game.
Another, sitting at a nearby table in the clubhouse, looked up at the mention and shrugged his shoulders in an “anything’s better than what we’re going through” move.
“It’s always a possibility,” the first hitter said of stripping down for batting practice. “Only in the batting cage though.
