The 2017 season is underway, and somehow the Oakland A’s are in second place after the first two weeks. Even if they fall back down into the cellar, though, Athletics Nation will be here every day to watch the game with you and analyze every possible angle.
This spring, we held our fifth annual Game Thread auditions, and as a result of that program we’re adding three new names to the gameday roster. If you tried out and didn’t get picked, fear not — like with a pitching rotation, life happens and sometimes more spots open up over the course of the season.
