A's starter Kendall Graveman struck out three in three shutout innings, Jesse Hahn worked three innings of two-hit relief and prospect Frankie Montas went the final two innings of the A's five-hit shutout of Italy in an exhibition game on Wednesday in Mesa.
Third baseman Ryon Healy, getting a start at first, homered off of Zach Neal in the fifth inning.
Infield prospect Chad Pinder connected for a solo home run in the eighth inning to cap off the scoring in the A's 7-0 win.
Fellow prospects Matt Chapman and Franklin Barreto got in on the action as well.
