Today is the first time Jharel Cotton will face the Detroit Tigers, never having pitched to them his last two seasons. On the hill opposing Cotton is Buck Farmer, RHP. Miguel Cabrera is back in the lineup today after sitting out yesterday’s game with ongoing back issues. Cotton will be seeking to end a fourteen game hitting streak for 25 year-old Nicholas Castellanos. In addition, Cotton will no doubt be hoping for a Matt-attack at the plate to support his defense.
