A’s vs. Mariners series are rarely particularly exciting (spoiling last year to end their season aside), but it always feels like we’re pretty evenly matched. Felix is out for 3-4 weeks with an injury so that removes one of the main hurdles. And hey, Seattle is a cool city.
Kendall Graveman is making his second start since returning from the DL. Out from mid-May until last week, the sinker baller is looking to regain his old form. His first start back was about as inauspicious as they come, with Graveman getting knocked around to the tune of 7 earned runs in only 2 innings.
