The Oakland A’s snapped their four-game losing streak on Saturday, and along the way they finally notched a victory against a division rival. The green and gold showed up on both sides of the ball and beat the Angels 6-4.
Sean Manaea was perfect through four innings and wound up registering a quality start, and the bullpen held onto the lead for the final three frames. On the offensive side, a couple of homers got the scoring started for the A’s but the real damage was done with an extended rally in the 6th, highlighed by Stephen Piscotty’s go-ahead, two-run single.
