The Oakland A’s punched a ticket to Poundtown on Saturday afternoon at the Coliseum.
The A’s launched three homers and banged out 14 hits in an 11-2 rout of the Kansas City Royals. The two Matts accounted for half of the hits on their own, including a homer for each.
Like the previous two games in this series, Oakland jumped onto the board first, but this time they never let their opponent back into the game.
The A’s scored a quick run in the 1st inning, but had to wait until the 2nd for a crooked number.
