Admittedly, I’m not completely sure how to feel about this win. My initial reaction is the Astros lost the game more than the A’s won it. Cotton was excellent. Treinen picked up a six-out save. Boog was on base four times. But the A’s scored their first two runs courtesy of errors (although it was an exciting Little League homerun on the day of the Little League classic!) and their third and final run on a passed ball.
