Game 105: Yonder Homers In 12th, A’s Win 6-5

The A’s used seven pitchers; the Twins relied on a mere six. The game lasted more than four hours and provided us fans with some free baseball. We saw some incredible defensive plays, mostly courtesy of Khris Davis and Matt Chapman. The high sky, bright sun, and flock seagulls added to the spectacle. We even got to see an ejection.

Cotton struggled early and the A’s trailed for the majority of Sunday’s action. But an impressive bullpen effort, an 8th inning comeback, and some twelfth inning heroics courtesy of Yonder Alonso powered the A’s to a 6-5 win.
