ANAHEIM – The Angels have this terrible habit of asking teams – themselves included, to play nothing but midweek night games.
Which makes for a problem for the A’s who play in Houston Friday and won’t get to their hotel probably until about the time the sun rises.
To be fair, the Angels have to fly to Dallas after the game to play Friday night against the Rangers in Arlington, Texas, so their sleep won’t get much better.
Oakland has made some changes to its usual schedule to try and work through the problem caused by the anticipated lack of sleep.
