Ever since Edwin Jackson debuted for the A’s, they have not lost.
Their 7-2 victory over Cleveland at the Coliseum on Saturday afternoon extended their winning streak to a season-high six games as the well-traveled right-hander and four relievers combined on a three-hitter.
Mixing a fastball that ranged from the low- to mid-90s with a slider and changeup, Jackson gave up two runs on two hits (each a solo homer in the fourth inning) in 62/3 innings.
