Going for their sixth straight win, the A’s will send to the mound the man who started the first game of the win streak, Edwin Jackson, against Cleveland at the Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

Pitching for his major-league record-tying 13th team Monday, Jackson held Detroit to a run on six hits in six innings as Oakland prevailed 5-4. He struck out seven, didn’t issue a walk and threw 80 pitches.
