NEW YORK — Oakland’s injury situation is nearing crisis level, with starting pitchers Kendall Graveman and Jesse Hahn likely headed to the disabled list in the next day or two and first baseman Yonder Alonso missing from the starting lineup Friday at Yankee Stadium.
Graveman has been the A’s best starter most of the past year, but has been on the DL once this season and is expected to be out even longer this time after a recurrence of shoulder soreness.
“This DL is going to take a little longer, if indeed he goes on the DL,” manager Bob Melvin said.
