Eric Sogard has bounced around the league the last five seasons. He has donned four different uniforms in that span. If you take out the 2016 season where he did not see any MLB action, he has played for four teams in his last four seasons.
The Athletics’ have had their fair share of change as well since Sogard departed in 2015. They had consistency with Jed Lowrie until he played himself out of their price range.
Oakland has since struggled to find a replacement. The team traded for Jurickson Profar and that turned out to be a huge flop.
