Brandon McCarthy made a nice gesture for Chester Bennington on Thursday.
On the day Bennington was reportedly found dead in a Los Angeles area apartment at age 41, of an apparent suicide, McCarthy climbed the mound at Dodger Stadium with Linkin Park blasting.
It was a sweet tribute to Bennington, one of two lead singers in the hard rock outfit that broke onto the scene with the multi-platinum album Hybrid Theory and remained active through six more releases.
While McCarthy has kept his Twitter silence as of Friday morning — which is unlike him considering his social media savvy — his account shows numerous likes of tweets about Bennington.
