With yesterday’s official announcement that, “Psych! Alex Hall will be AN’s lead writer and front page manager after all!” it seems like a good time for a more comprehensive state-of-the-blog update. (Alex’s official new title is “Assistant Producer, California Fan Communities,” but for AN’s purposes you just need to know that it means, “Yeah, Alex will be writing lots of stuff for AN and managing the front page content, like he’s been doing for the past few years.”)
One of my aims as Blogfather has been to help AN earn community trust through maximal transparency, so I am devoting the next part of this post to answering, as honestly and accurately as I can, questions you may have around AN going forward — hopefully I will hit upon the various questions and concerns you might have, but if not you can always offer them in the comments section.
