Athletics’ GM David Forst told MLB.com’s Martin Gallegos earlier this week that the Green and Gold’s number one priority this offseason would be the all-important bullpen.
“We need to get better. We need to try and catch the Astros and get out of that one-game playoff,” Forst said. “We have a number of things to do, but addressing the bullpen is definitely at the top of the list.”
Considering the roller coaster the A’s relievers have taken the team on the past two seasons and their talent elsewhere, most fans would agree with Forst’s assessment.
