Colon had a 3.00 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP in five starts in Spring Training. He made one start against the Athletics last season, allowing three runs in 6 1/3 innings while pitching for the Twins. Colon was an 18-game winner for the Athletics in 2013.
Triggs went 5-6 with a 4.27 ERA in 12 starts before his '17 season ended June 9 with a hip injury that required surgery a month later. The 29-year-old righty entered camp healthy and posted a 4.81 ERA in 7 spring outings spanning 24 1/3 innings.
