By holding the Rangers to two runs in five innings on Saturday, Manaea picked up his first win since July 16. The left-hander has yielded a combined five runs in his last 11 innings, after surrendering 13 earned runs in his previous 6 2/3 innings.
The right-hander will make his Mariners debut after being acquired Wednesday from the Cardinals. Leake got off to a strong start this year, but is 1-6 with a 6.94 ERA over his past 10 starts. This will be his first time pitching for an AL team.
