The Angels, right on the heels of the Twins for the American League's second Wild Card spot, open a three-game series with the AL West-rival A's on Monday night in Anaheim. Angels left-hander Andrew Heaney will take the mound for just the third time since returning to the team from Tommy John surgery. For the A's, rookie right-hander Daniel Gossett will make his second start back in the Majors.
