SEATTLE — A solo home run by Matt Olson in the sixth inning broke up a no-hitter Sunday afternoon but four runs from Robinson Cano and a five-run eighth inning helped Seattle complete a three-game sweep of the A’s with a 10-2 victory.
Oakland (58-78) lost for the sixth consecutive time. The A’s will look to end their skid when they host the Los Angeles Angels for a three-game series starting Monday.
Olson hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Oakland’s first hit of the game against Seattle starter Andrew Albers (3-1, 3.43 earned-run average).
