A's use six-run ninth to beat Rangers, move back over .500

With the game knotted at 3 in the top of the ninth, Marcus Semien crushed a 413-foot homer off Kevin Jepsen to push the A's past the Rangers on Monday night.

The A's would add five more runs in the inning and build a 9-3 lead. Texas scored once in the ninth before Chris Hatcher shut the door on a 9-4 A's victory.

The win is the A's third in a row and at 12-11, it puts them above .500 for the first time since they were 1-0.

Khris Davis got the scoring started in the third inning with a two-run double.
