Jokes aside, Beck was at the park Tuesday to sign his contract, meet the big leaguers and take some batting practice before the outfielder heads off to the minor leagues. He admitted he wasn’t familiar with a lot of the Athletics’ fresher faces.
“A lot of these guys are young so I haven’t been following a lot of them,” Beck said. “I know Khris Davis.”
