A’s to unveil Hall of Fame; guess who gets inducted first

It has been a half-century since Catfish Hunter threw a perfect game. It has been 47 years since Reggie Jackson homered off a roof-top light tower in the All-Star game and Vida Blue became an authentic sensation.

It has been 44 years since the A’s put the cherry on top of their World Series championship three-peat, and Herb Washington became major league baseball’s first (and as we speak, only) designated pinch runner.
