A's star Matt Olson sports mask while playing first base vs. Angels

A's star Matt Olson is taking all precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The slugger was wearing a mask while playing first base in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Multiple MLB games were postponed earlier Monday after the Miami Marlins experienced an "outbreak" of cases over the weekend. Olson joined MLB Network before the game, and said he'd likely be wearing a face covering on the field following Monday's news.

"Yeah, we’re just so accustomed to normal baseball life," Olson said.
