The A's made a series of roster moves Tuesday, placing two players on the 15-day disabled list and bringing in three fresh faces.
Outfielder Mark Canha (back strain) and right-hander Liam Hendriks (right triceps strain) were placed on the 15-day DL, while righty J.B. Wendelken was optioned to Triple-A Nashville.
Right-hander Andrew Triggs and utility players Tyler Ladendorf were recalled from Triple-A Nashville, while the A's selected the contract of lefty Daniel Coulombe from Nashville. Right-hander Chris Bassitt was transferred to the 60-day DL to make room for Coulombe on the 40-man roster.
