HOUSTON – It seems likely A’s left-handed Sean Manaea will get his wish and miss a trip to the disabled list.
And that’s good news for the A’s, who used teh disabled list 27 times last year and who have already used it nine times with five-sixths of the season still remaining
He threw on the side Saturday, three days after coming out of a game in Anaheim after just two innings and 34 pitches because of shoulder stiffness.
“I’m feeling great right now,” Manaea said after throwing and after having the medical team work on his shoulder and upper arm.
