MESA, Ariz. - Sean Manaea’s back tightness was so minimal, the left-hander threw a two-inning simulated game at Fitch Park on Wednesday morning.
He allowed a double by Mark Canha and he walked Josh Phegley, and he struck out two while throwing 30-35 pitches, he estimated.
“Everything felt good, felt fine,” Manaea said. “No issues at all. Overall it went pretty well, and I’m happy with where I’m at.”
