ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Sean Doolittle spent time during his rehab assignment watching video of himself from 2012-13, when he very first took up pitching again and enjoyed so much success.
Back then, Doolittle’s delivery was simpler, he said Friday at Tropicana Field, so he tried to get back to that while making appearances with Class-A Stockton and Triple-A Nashville.
“I was working on some mechanical stuff and I feel really good with where I’m at,” said Doolittle, who will come off the DL on Saturday to be the A’s 26th player for the doubleheader against the Rays.
