A’s rotation may have lost another starter to an injury

OAKLAND – The A’s may have lost another starting pitcher to the disabled list with Jesse Hahn being lifted in the third inning of Tuesday’s game against Miami.

Hahn, who had given up four runs at the time and eventually would be charged with five runs, left after a third-inning leadoff single by Christian Yelich.

Although no problems were blatant from Hahn’s delivery, manager Bob Melvin and trainer Nick Paparesta visited the mound and Hahn and Paparesta exited while Melvin called rookie Bobby Wahl in to pitch.

The A’s have already had five starting pitchers on the disabled list in the first seven weeks of the season.
