BALTIMORE -- A red-hot Manny Machado was the hero Wednesday, hitting a walk-off home run in the 12th inning to push the O's past the A's, 8-7, in Baltimore's series victory at Camden Yards.
Machado sent his 28th homer of the year off A's reliever Simon Castro on a 1-1 slider that gave the Orioles their ninth walk-off win of the season. The Orioles now extend their record to 10-2 in extra-inning games.
