MESA, Ariz. – With his old team, the Indians, coming over to play the A’s, Oakland center fielder Rajai Davis has a reasonable expectation of getting pranked somehow Tuesday.
Or not. As of 10:30 a.m. (MT) nothing unusual had happened as Davis went through his regular pregame rituals without anything untoward happening.
Mostly he’s just looking forward to reuniting with some of the guys he played with last year when Cleveland took the Chicago Cubs to seven games in the World Series.
Almost everybody remembers Davis hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning of Game 7 that tied the game at 6-6.
